The sun is shining, the sky is mainly blue, and it remains impossible for me to conduct a life online. A new hard-drive, mainly reconfigured, brings with it several interesting wrinkles. These seem to take place whenever an operating system is changed/replaced/improved. Last Friday 29th. August it was possible for me to get online via DGM HQ Ethernet, but not to save the e-mail. Today, I am unable to get access via dial-up.
Collapses in the computer have prevented me once again from reporting lotsa interesting arising stuff. Mainly, good stuff, although accompanied by a pile of difficulties. Smooth progress not, unsmooth progress, it is. But, tacking gently upstream against the force of gravity - excelsior! Forwards & upwards.
